Do not tear your groin. Seriously, if there’s anything you can do in your routine to make this less likely…you need to put that higher on your list than it is now. Unfortunately, i tore mine in my 2nd match at the 2017 IBJJF Chicago Open. This could be a long post, but other than learning more than you need to know about groin tears, there really wouldn’t be a point, it wouldn’t even be mildly entertaining. So let’s just break it down to a few bullet points:
1. Stretch well and don’t neglect your groin
2. If you must tear your groin, tear the Adductor Longus, and tear it ALL THE WAY
3. Anticipate at least a month of pain and discomfort.
That’s it gang…if you need to know more about groin tears, you can always make a comment.
